St.Nicholas made his visit to Lviv as well. On December 27, a charitable event “A wish Christmas tree” was held at ZARINA Jewellery House. Many customers took part in that project and fulfilled little dreamers’ wishes.
Besides toys, there also were children’s dreams on that fir-tree. During a month the envelopes with drawings depicting presents children were dreaming of, had served as the decoration of the installed forest beauty. And all that was not in vain. Little Ukrainians’ wishes were heard. Charitable event organizers assert that everyone could become a wonderworker for a child. ZARINA Jewellery House decided to hold such event in order to help in fulfilling the dreams of children from low-income families and children deprived of parents’ care. The organizers also wanted to remind us that each little Ukrainian is special and we must forget about none of them and make these children feel we do remember about them. This idea occurred to be right. About a dozen of ZARINA shop visitors participated in the event. Having taken pictures from the Christmas tree, visitors bought toys the children wanted to get and brought them to the shop. All those presents were handed out to their new delighted owners. All children were happy. One eight year old girl Dianka felt especially joyful the moment she received a plush kitten she had been dreaming of for so long. The girl is also fond of reading and was extremely glad to get some new books from St.Nicholas.
It’s worth saying, that it was not the first charitable event the Jewellery House had carried out. The eleemosynary project “Luxury has to be helpful” has been held by ZARINA recently. At the end of the event ten percent of the proceeds from each sold jewelry item were donated to children of Ukraine’s defenders and to little migrants and their families.
ZARINA Jewellery House expresses special gratitude to Sabina Avanasyan-Hryshchuk, Olha Topolnytska, Halyna Zabalska-Pervova and to other benefactors who participated in that event and made the little dreamers happy.
